Two classes: March 3 and 10 from 10:30 – 12:00

Emerging technologies and products are transforming energy usage in our houses and communities. Heat pumps, electric motors, turbines, photovoltaics, insulation, LEDs, and improved controls are changing the way we design our buildings, mow our lawns, drive our cars, provide lighting, and control our environments.  We will examine whether these technologies are cost-effective and if they can save us from global warming.
