What Were They Thinking? How Are They Thinking ? The New (Old) Science of Decision

 

 

The awkward truth emerging from psychology and neuroscience is that we don’t always know why we do what we do. We have at best an incomplete picture of the factors shaping our decisions and our behavior. Even with the latest brain scanning technology, we aren’t able to lift the hood and see what is really going on. This course will explore some of the latest thinking about thinking, about decision making and about the unconscious biases so pervasive in our thought and behavior.
