John will quickly lay out the basics of chemistry and the building blocks of life, leading to a stimulating discussion on such topical subjects as our foods, DNA, viruses, gene editing, opioids and plastics. The subject will be presented in such a way that everybody can understand and appreciate the importance of these topics in our everyday life.
