Two Classes

(Classes on two consecutive days starting promptly at 10:00 AM!  Each day there will be a 15 minute refreshment break at 11:00.)

This course is a joint venture between Lifetime Learning at Snow Library and Lifetime Learning at Eldredge Library.
 
Tuesday, 10/10: With colorful power point, David will describe how much of the world, including parts of the United States, is freely choosing to embrace illiberal democracy or even fascism, a surprise for most of us who were raised and educated to value classical, liberal, democratic values in a responsive republic.
 
Wednesday, 10/11: David discusses with us: Why the allure? What don’t we understand? What questions should we be asking? Have we been looking through rose-colored glasses, seeing very little and comprehending even less?
