Two Classes / One Day
10:30 – 12:00 & 1:30-3:00
October 29
Longtime singer/musician Matt York will return to Orleans to perform a mix of roots, country and Americana music from the past sixty years. Fans of Neil Young, Tom Petty, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash and more will be sure to enjoy this free concert. York was recently nominated for the Boston Music Award for Best Country Artist for the second consecutive year and his album Gently Used was just named one of the Patriot Ledger’s best albums of 2022.
Matt is excited to also introduce his new initiative: The Music is a Beautiful Thing Project.
This initiative came to Matt as he traveled all around Massachusetts performing in recent years.
The goal is to do two things:
1) Bring music to people/places that might not have a chance to hear much live music otherwise.
2) Try and bring quality musical instruments to places where they’ll be put to use.

Matt hopes to collect some used instruments from attendees that may have some available when he performs for us.
