The course will address the conflict between the need to increase food production and the need to protect the environment.  It will assess options for developing agricultural systems that can provide sufficient nutritious food for everyone, promote economic growth to reduce poverty, protect ecosystems, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Two classes : May 4 and 11 from 1:30 – 3:00.
