Jung-Ho talks with one of Broadway’s hottest stars, Scarlett Strallen from the Symphony’s show, coming up on October 15 and 16.
Scarlett Strallen has been requested by her Majesty the Queen on three separate occasions to sing for her. She most recently starred on Broadway as Gwendolyn in Travesties and has appeared in the title role of Mary Poppins on Broadway and in London’s West End. Two other of Broadway’s hottest stars will be appearing at the upcoming show. Dee Roscioli is best known for her seven-year stretch starring as Elphaba, the witch, in Wicked and, most recently, has been seen on Broadway in The Cher Show as the pop icon herself. Hugh Panaro is perhaps best known for playing the Phantom in Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera over 2,000 times. He is currently starring in the title role in the Off-Broadway production of Sweeney Todd and has toured in Europe with the legendary Barbra Streisand.
