Organs date from the time of Ctesibius of Alexandria (285–222 BC), inventor of the water organ. Using his favorite instrument as a rough guide, Joe will take us on a musical journey through history as he examines how the organ, along with other fantastic instruments, played various roles and enriched our lives in a variety of contexts and venues.
