Groups were an important part of Rock ’n’ Roll, including: The Ink Spots, Billy Haley and The Comets, Clyde McPhatter and The Drifters, The Shirelles, Frankie Lymon and The Teenagers, The Platters, The Beach Boys, Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, The Doors, Booker T. and The MGs, Sly and The Family Stone, Gladys Knight and The Pips, The Flamingos, The O’Jays, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Eagles, The Lovin’ Spoonful, The Righteous Brothers and The Mamas and The Papas.
