One of the joys of viewing art is making connections between new pieces and those with which we are familiar.  It is particularly thrilling to see a painting or sculpture for the first time, finding some part of it recognizable or poignant because it reminded us of one of our favorites. Come experience this with Beth Stein as she takes us through selected works from PAAM’s permanent collection by artists who studied in Provincetown.  The class will have a brief overview of each selected artist’s career, other works from the collection by said artist, and a comparison of one of his/her works with the work of an iconic artist. You will be amazed at how much depth this class will add to your museum visits!
