Orleans Citizens Forum*
Two Classes
1:30 – 3:00, March 31
5:30 – 7:00, April 21
A community-focused, thoughtful look at immigration as it is experienced on the Lower Cape. We’ll explore 3 key areas:
1. Demographics—who immigrants are, with a focus on the skills and contributions they bring to the Cape.
2. Enforcement—how federal immigration policies are impacting our community and how local resources respond.
3. Stories—personal experiences that highlight the human side of immigration.
The session includes moderated discussion, Q&A, practical action steps, and resources for further learning.
*The Orleans Citizens Forum will use the March 31 discussion as the basis for a follow-up forum on April 21 to delve deeper into how immigration affects the quality of life in Orleans.
