Four classes
Special guided visits to artist studios, galleries, and a museum.

Cancellations will be filled from a wait list.
This class is not available via Zoom.
Class members will be emailed weekly about time, directions, and parking.
Departure times may vary slightly due to driving distances.
Due to covid restrictions and studio space, class is limited to 20 registrations.

9:00 – 10:30 at Wildwood Pottery in Brewster – Ruby Calderwood, potter, will give a demonstration of her creative work. Ruby is the daughter of Clay Calderwood (Clayworks) and has taken over her father’s 40-year studio. This class is standing with no chairs and no bathrooms.

10:00 – 11:30 at PAAM in Provincetown — Our annual visit with Christine McCarthy, Executive Director who will walk us thru the museum’s current exhibits. This class has some bench seating but is mostly standing and walking thru the museum. Bathrooms are available. The PAAM Museum fee will be waived at the door but a donation and/or annual membership is suggested.
11:45 – 1:00 with Hilda Neeley – Provincetown — Hilda is a Plein Air Impressionist painter who has been painting the light of Provincetown since 1968. She was a student of Henry Hensche for 15 years, and teaches at The Cape School of Art. Using her own works, she will demonstrate how she uses light and “sees” color to create her paintings. Class is standing with no bathrooms.

10:00 – 12:00 at Richard Perry studio in Brewster – Richard has been an artist on the Cape since the late ‘70s. He produces holographic intaglio reliefs using clay and light in his studio. Class is standing and no bathrooms.

10:15 – 1:00 at the Cape Cod Museum of Art in Dennis.
