Reshaping Our Future Through Biology and Engineering

In her book, “The Age of Living Machines:  How Biology will Build the Next Technology Revolution,” Dr. Hockfield provides a glimpse of how technologies emerging from a convergence of biology with engineering have the potential to reshape our future.  Topics will include:  technology innovations in biomedicine, agriculture, and sustainable energy; the changing educational landscape and how to reach more learners; and how to foster greater confidence in science and technology.
