President’s Message

On behalf of the Friends of Snow Library Board, welcome! As the newly-elected President I assure you that the Friends will continue on an upward arc; with your continued support our goal is to exceed our success of the past fiscal year. 

In FY 25-26, the  Friends generated  over $44,000 in direct library contributions.  These Direct Library
contributions along with funds to run Lifetime Learning classes represent 77% of our expenses while also allowing us to add $30,000 to the Friends investment funds.  As you know, these contributions fund library books, periodicals, subscriptions, museum passes, children’s programs and much more. Our sincere thanks goes out to all who contributed to this effort.

While on the subject of  donations, I’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the Friends’ are able to receive securities, bequests and memoriams directly and through Donor Advised Funds as an option for you when you are considering a donation to the Friends.

And we welcome your involvement!! We are currently recruiting for a Treasurer, a Technology Chair, and an additional at-large board seat. Please come to a meeting and join us on our mission to support this special town treasure.
