Saturday Book Sales

After successful summer sales, our fall and winter 2016 schedule has changed.

The month of November: NO SALES while busy bee volunteers work to re-arrange and "weed" out our large collection of books.

The month of December: ALL-DAY HOLIDAY SALE on DECEMBER 10 (2nd Saturday of the month)
 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. 
There are no other sales in December.

The months of January, February, March and April 2017: Sales from 10:00 am to Noon on
the 1st and 3rd Saturdays.

We, also, have a selection of used books for sale on the shelves opposite the circulation desk
at any time the library is open.

Stop by and see our large selection of fiction and non-fiction books, DVDs, children’s books and videos,
 cookbooks, gardening books, history, biographies are all available at rock-bottom prices.

Saturday Book SaleBooks for sale

Four times each year there are all-day books sales from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, the Saturday nearest to July 4th, the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend, and the Saturday of the second weekend in December. Many additional books are added for these sales.

The Book Sales committee is always interested in having volunteers to sort donated books, price them, and staff the sales.

The Snow Mobile
A Book Delivery Program sponsored by the Friends of Snow Library for at-home residents with library cards who are unable to get to the library on their own.

We are currently looking for volunteers.

The Orleans Council on Aging has agreed to help train volunteers to go into the home. They will also perform a confidential, required CORI check for those interested in participating. There is no cost involved, the time requirement is minimal and the rewards are many!
