There are courses, activities, special events and places of interest that the Friends of Snow make available to the community.

Lifetime Learning Program, filled over 1,100 seats in its Winter 2015 semester. With a selection of varied courses there was something for everyone.
The Friends of Snow Library have book sales from 10 a.m. to noon on the first Saturday of each month, except for the months of June, July and August, when book sales be held on the first and third Saturdays.
We, also, have a selection of used books for sale on the shelves opposite the circulation desk at any time the library is open.
Stop by and see our large selection of fiction and non-fiction books, DVDs, children’s books and videos, cookbooks, gardening books, history, biographies are all available at rock-bottom prices.
Four times each year there are all-day books sales from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, the Saturday nearest to July 4th, the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend, and the Saturday of the second weekend in December. Many additional books are added for these sales.
The Book Sales committee is always interested in having volunteers to sort donated books, price them, and staff the sales.
A Book Delivery Program sponsored by the Friends of Snow Library for at-home residents with library cards who are unable to get to the library on their own.
We are currently looking for volunteers.
The Orleans Council on Aging has agreed to help train volunteers to go into the home. They will also perform a confidential, required CORI check for those interested in participating. There is no cost involved, the time requirement is minimal and the rewards are many!
