Learn about the principles of landscape design from site analysis through the design process. The program will include an onsite visit to the new Orleans Senior Center garden/walkway and virtual tours of iconic gardens of China and Holland.

Presenter: Sharon Davis has a Landscape Institute Design Certificate and graduated from Harvard College. Sharon specializes in low maintenance coastal environment gardens.

Historic Town Walks

In spring both migrating and nesting species arrive. In summer the shorebirds return. The fall brings staging terns and swallows headed for winter homes. Winter is duck season. This four part course will provide a snapshot of the different seasons as well as bird natural history and identification.
